Walking over the Williamsburg Bridge from Brooklyn to Lower east side of Manhattan. I can easily take the train, like I’ve always done. But this summer we’ve been walking over this bridge for the last 2 months or so. I see it as getting a nice simple work out since it take 45 minutes each way. It’s also relaxing for me, maybe because of the breath taking view i get of the city or the cool breeze that hits my face while crossing it.

WF shopping:

Excited to try Milk Thistle Organic creamline milk and Cascadian Farm organic dark chocolate almond granola. Will review soon.

Breakfast: Steel cut oats with almond butter, bananas and almonds.

Lunch: Grilled chicken, lettuce, red onion, a bit of low fat mayo and sriracha on sprouted bread.


What simple activity relaxes you?




  1. hat a great walk! When I lived in London I often used to get off the train in Victoria and forget the tube and walk instead and just “be a tourist” for half an hour enjoying the sights of London.
