I wasn’t able to make it to the Figure and Bikini workshop hosted by Team Bombshell today due to the weather here in the Northeast. It snowed today and my flight was cancelled. I guess I will just have to wait for another workshop to attend, maybe go down to Florida instead, hehe.
Here I am, making the best of the NYC weather. Headed food shopping!
Now, Here’s the BF. I’ve mentioned him in a few post. Simply my best friend and the Love of mi vida (life).
I’m obviously the best photographer of the two. 🙂 Actually he’s a great photographer but my phone camera wasn’t fond of him today, so the pic I took of him came out better.
This is our Boston Terrier, Maximus Aurelius, Isn’t he handsome?. I’m in Raleigh Durham for the day and I sure do miss my “warm furry animal” (the BF calls him that). He brings so much calmness and joy to my life. Having him is like having a baby boy. At almost nine years old, he has the energy of a puppy but also acts like such a great gentlemen. Can’t wait till I get home tonight, He greets me like no other! ❤
I’ve been looking into this new goal for the last month. I’ve read up on it and looked at many videos on Youtube. I’m excited to share that I will soon start Bikini competition prep. It takes lots of effort to go under the diet regimen and workout routine that gets your body to it’s maximum physique. I’m so glad Bikini has become part of the Body building sport in the last few years. I like the fact that in Bikini competitions women are able to build muscle and tone up but with a softer look. I’ve always loved my curves and wouldn’t change that. I look forward to achieving this goal. I’m still doing trainer/coach search.
After looking into Bikini competitions a few competitors have caught my attention. The first was the IFBB Pro Nathalia Melo. I like her determination and her confidence when she sets foot on the competition stage. Look at the pic above, doesn’t having that physique translate to hard work! I believe so!!
Yesterday, while walking through Chinatown NYC I came across a plethora of produce stands right under the Manhattan Bridge(Forsyth street). A variety of greens and herbs at insane cheap prices. As you can see from the face in the above pic, I was super happy!
Writing all the prices of produced I purchased, to share with you guys.
I got all this for right under $10.00
Baby Bok choy: 2 lbs/$1.50
Green peppers: 2 lbs/$1.00
Brocolli (just florets): 2 lbs/$1.00
Steak tomatoes: 3 lbs/$2.00
Asparagus: .75 cents each
Ginger: 2 lbs/$1.50
Scallion: 3/ $1.00
Garlic (pack of 5):$1.00
Chives: $1.00 each bundle
Onions (2 lbs bag) $1.00
I went pretty early in the day. I was told that at the end of the day prices go down. Since they want to get rid of as much produce as possible. Can’t wait to go back and see what new produce I come across.
I know, I haven’t been keeping up with the blog. I was away for a month training with a new airline. Have been doing one of the things i enjoy the most, working in the skies! BUT I’m back and excited to live a life of fitness and health!
